Our Indoor Season will run from October 29th to February 16th. Athletes in Middle School and High School will be able to practice 6 days a week. We will lift weights 3 days a week and run 3 days a week. Athletes in Grade School will be able to run 3 days a week this year as we continue to add to our program. We use this season to provide a solid base for the outdoor school season and summer season. We compete locally as well as travel out of town for meets.
Our summer season will begin May 20th for everyone this year. Our season runs through the end of July culminating with the USATF Jr. Olympic National Meet in Sacramento, Ca. Our primary competition series is the USATF Junior Olympic Series. We compete in an Association Meet, Regional Meet, and then, Nationals. Athletes will be able to practice 5 days a week, as well as compete at local meets throughout the summer
Our athletes enjoy the support of their teammates as each of the seasons progresses. When they athletes run for their schools in the spring, you can usually hear Dash teammates cheering each other on as they compete. Meets like Boise Relays and the Idaho State Meet act as a reunion for the athletes as they compete against each other to see who is the States best.
